Toronto has been so cold that even Presto cards can't deal. This winter, we endured snowstorm after snowstorm, extremely cold temperatures and just downright wild weather. The issue was brought to our attention when one Toronto commuter informed Narcity that their Presto card completely snapped in two on an extremely cold day last month. Check out the photo they sent us below.

Many other people reported the exact same issue with their Presto cards. Pointing out that, even when they tried to put it back together, it refused to work. Leaving them no other choice but to shell out $6 for a new one.
