Earlier this year when Sukoshi Mart opened their modest location in Kensington Market, Torontonians became instantly obsessed with the shop's adorable interior and products. From cute socks and accessories to Japanese and Korean drinks and foods and of course, their insane collection of Korean skincare, the spot was an instant success.
If you couldn't get enough of Sukoshi Mart before, their newest location may be able to satisfy your cravings considering their latest opening is significantly larger than their first. Meaning more products to check out to the point where you feel as if you've been transported to Japan when you enter!
The new Scarborough Town Centre location follows the same idea that the creators had for the first store in Kensington. That being to stock the brands that most mainstream Asian stores in Toronto don't sell. Achieving that goal resulted in their significantly strong skincare stash found in-store where they stock cult favourites that are extremely inexpensive and hard to find in Canada.
Outside of just skincare, the new location offers tons of makeup and other beauty products as well. At the Scarborough location, you can find jade rollers, eyeshadow palettes, concealers, serums and much more!
Though it's not just skincare the store hosts considering the new location also features desserts such as daifuku mochi made by Saski Fine Pastry. Of course, they also stock an insane amount of "unconventional snacks" from Asia. All of which, you could take home in one of the adorable tote bags that feature the iconic cartoon Shiba Inu that is apart of their logo that's also up for purchase.
With the initial success of the Kensington location, it's expected that the new Sukoshi Mart will be a hit. Especially considering they are next door neighbours to fellow Japanese brand, Muji. To visit the new Sukoshi Mart, you can find them at Scarborough Town Centre at 300 Borough Dr.
