Toronto's Ripley's Aquarium Is Getting A Strange And New Exhibit

Get ready for some curious creatures.

If you're off school or are taking a well deserved mini-vacation during march break and are looking for a cute date, Ripley's Aquarium has something for you.  The aquarium has a brand new exhibit featuring new animals and attractions.

The new exhibit, called Curious Creatures, offers you the chance to see seven new marine species at the aquarium. You'll also have a chance to learn about Ripley's Believe It Or Not founder, Robert Ripley’s worldwide explorations.

So what kinds of new things are there in this exhibit?

In terms of animals there's the: Peacock Mantis Shrimp, Walking Batfish, Frogfish, Flashlight Fish, Goldfish and Giant Isopods.

There's even even something called a Sarcastic Fringehead, which is officially the best name for a animal ever.

The best part is unlike most places that do special exhibits, such as the ROM or AGO, this one won't cost you anything extra. It's all included in your standard admission ticket to the aquarium. Yay paying the same price as usual and getting more for your money.

So if you're in need of a day trip during the break Ripley's Aquarium has you covered.
