Durham Regional Police have arrested a suspect involved in an early-morning stabbing in Oshawa. Two men are seriously injured, and have been taken to hospital.

According to City News, Durham Police were called to Adelaide Street and Park Road just after midnight on Thursday. A fight allegedly broke out between three men, and things quickly escalated into violence.

It is alleged that two men were stabbed during the altercation. They are said to be in critical, but stable condition. One has been transported to a trauma centre in Toronto, according to Oshawa This Week.

City News reports that the man who was arrested by Durham Police also suffered a shoulder injury. Police have yet to reveal the nature of the charges, or the identities of the three men involved.
