A scary incident in Mississauga has caused two local secondary schools to go into full lockdown mode. Peel Regional Police just announced on Twitter that two schools in the Mississauga area, John Fraser Secondary School and St. Aloysius Gonzaga Secondary school have been put into lockdown after suspicion that an unwanted student was on the premise.
In a series of tweets, Peel Regional Police confirmed that a student who has uttered threats towards the school in the past and hasn’t been allowed on school property may be within the school zones at this moment.
School Resource Officers are currently checking the school to ensure that the student is not present and that the students and staff are safe.

Many parents and students are taking to Twitter to know more about the issue and were concerned when nothing had been shared after posting about the lockdown 20 mins prior. Some concerned parents on Twitter believed that this incident had to do with a student who had been arrested and suspended a few weeks prior, who was on school property without permission.
