With the highly anticipated Invictus Games slated to start in Toronto in the coming weeks, participants and spectators from around the world are preparing to head to Toronto.
And to help get its travelers prepared, the U.K has shared some travel advice on a government website for those who plan to head to Toronto for the upcoming games.
While most of the info touches on basic travel precautions like health insurance, transportation, and passports and visa requirements, what really caught our attention was the government's weather warning.
The website warns that "severe snowstorms are a regular occurrence" during this time of the year. Which is hilarious considering it's just been confirmed that Toronto is going to be unusually warm and sunny over the next few weeks.
Snowstorms in September? Yeah, that really doesn't seem likely. But if you happen to be at the games and see someone walking around in a parka or wearing a toque and gloves, chances are they're from the U.K.
