Over the weekend, Toronto's very own Abel Tesfaye, known by his stage name The Weeknd took the stage with none other than Taylor Swift. The duo surprised fans in East Rutherford, New Jersey by performing what is surely one of the top contenders for song of the summer, 'Can't Feel My Face.'
This may seem like an odd pairing but since the 1989 tour has begun Swift has been notoriously calling on her database of famous friends to join her on stage. The ''Bad Blood' singer has welcomed her model friends, OINTB's Uzo Aduba, Law & Order's Mariska Hargitay and even gave fans a throwback by performing with Nick Jonas.
It seems the pop star is friends with every one so really, at this point, we do not think there is anyone she could bring out on tour that would surprise us. Maybe her new flame, Calvin Harris, will make an appearance at some point but we can't wait to see who joins her in Toronto when she pays us a visit in October.
