St. Patricks Day. If you're in a post-secondary you might be spending the day with just about all of your friends getting completely hammered.

And then waking up the next morning fully regretting every decision in your life that has led you to this point and vowing never to drink ever again. No worries though, it's a time honoured post-secondary tradition.

Unfortunately for some students of Wilfrid Laurier University this St. Patrick's Day may be a little bit more lonely.

Some of the residences at the school are cracking down on how many guests will be allowed in, setting the number at 35 per building.

This is apparently because of a massive street party last year, which attracted over 15,000 people.

Guests will have to be registered and wear wristbands if they want to be allowed into the buildings.

An online petition to get the rules changed has over 700 signatures at the time of writing. The petition states that "in no way did we, the tenants, know about this rule when we first signed our leases."

Regardless of the rules officials reportedly expect up to 20,000 people to attend the party this year. Party on my friends.
