Google Is Giving Away Free Donuts In Toronto Today At Dundas Square
You 🍩 want to miss this!
A new pop-up shop sprang up in Toronto yesterday, and this one is giving away free donuts or free Google Home Minis, depending on your luck.
The Google pop-up stand is located in the centre of Yonge-Dundas Square and is giving away little pink boxes that contain either a donut or Google's new Home Mini devices.
This is all a part of their campaign to promote the new pint sized powerhouse that that is about as small as a donut, hence the pop-up idea. All the boxes contain a coupon code for discounts on the new Mini.
The new device is circular and dome-shaped, like a donut, and comes in pink, black, or white. It's a small wi-fi enabled speaker that does all the same things as the larger google home device. Which means that it can answer questions, set timers and alarms, play music, read info from the web, and control other smart home devices such as Hue lights. So winning a free mini would be really cool.
