By now you have probably heard of WOW Air, and if not, let us give you the low down:
WOW Air is a discount airline based in Iceland that is offering very cheap flights between Canada and Europe. So how much will a flight to Europe on this airline cost you exactly?
YUP! THAT'S IT! Obviously there's a bit of a catch: that's a one way flight to Iceland. But from there, if you want to head to other cities in Europe, like Paris or London, it's only an additions $150! This too depends on the destination, as well as the time of year you will be traveling.
Originally, the airline planned to have four flights a week that would be be offered out Toronto's Lester B. Pearson airport as of May 20th, 2016, with all flights going to Europe via Iceland's capital, Reykjavik.
However due to the high demands, the airline says it is moving up those launch dates to May 11th.
More good news: the airline is adding more flights a week, for a total of six flights a week from Toronto, instead of the previously mentioned 4 a week.
"Due to great demand since we first announced our Canadian routes in October 2015, we are increasing capacity for both the Montreal and Toronto routes," CEO Skúli Mogensen said in release. "We are thrilled with the response to our super low fares, and we will continue adding even more interesting destinations across Europe that will connect with Canada at great prices."
Who's excited for a summer Europe trip!?
