It's the second worst time of the year: it's midterm season. Struggling to finish writing your essay that's due in three hours? Yikes. Reading through 100 PowerPoint slides the night before your exam? Yuck. Being super stressed out because of the situation you put yourself in? Ew. Since you're probably going to be procrastinating, you might as well check out one (or all) of these places.
1. SPiN Toronto
Ping pong your way out of this labyrinth of suffering. (Yep, John Green reference.)
2. Pursuit OCR
Put yourself up for a challenge that doesn't involve school. Climb and crawl and make your way through all the obstacle courses. You'll feel productive by the end of it!
3. Steam Whistle Brewery Tour
Get a little taste of history while drinking (a sample of) craft beer.
4. Art Gallery of Ontario
Forget studying, get cultured instead. Admission is free on Wednesdays.
5. Skate at Nathan Phillips Square
Hit the ice instead of hitting the books.
6. Snakes and Lattes
It's all fun and games here with all the board games you could possibly ever want to play.
7. Royal Ontario Museum
At least you'll be getting some sort of learning done. Admission is free for students every Tuesday with student ID.
8. Explore the districts of Toronto
Why sit and study when you can go out and explore? Toronto is huge and there are so many areas to explore.
