TIFF presents, "Boombox"

Where/When: 350 King St W - November 2nd, 9:00 pm-2:00 am

Boombox is an annual fundraiser held at the TIFF Bell Lightbox supporting various charities. This year proceeds will be going towards the "Share Her Journey Campaign" in support of women in the film industry that are in front and behind the camera-they enable the women's skills, participation and recognition.

A Night With Casper at One Art Gallery

Where/When: 5 Brock Ave - November 2nd, 6:00 pm-10:00 pm

This very unique event is one hell of a cozy time! To celebrate the award-winning mattress, Casper, enjoy cocktail hour while not only trying out the new mattress, but also the newsest exhibit at One Art Gallery. Then wind down, cozy up and watch a screening of the movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"! The entry is complimentray and comes with access to an open bar! SCORE!

Day of the Dead at Barrio

Mariachi band, tequilas, margaritas, beers and so much more to enjoy and take part in the Mexican holiday of "Day of the Dead"! Space is limited, and while this might be a spontaneous choice if you haven't heard of it yet, it is worth going to!

Grease The Musical Opening Weekend

Where/When: 189 Yonge St, November 1st-December 10th

The much anticipated musical in Toronto has finally hit the stage! While opening night was last night, opening weekend is the ideal time to check out this star studded musical, starring Janel Parrish! Grease is a classic musical and while it may be running for 6 weeks, you should go check out it out ASAP!

Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival

When/Where: 651 Duffrin St - November 3rd-November 11th, All Day

This one-of-a-kind film festival is centered around mental health and addiction issues in Canada, as well as internationally. They present ideas and films by people who's films wouldn't make the big screens, while allowing them to advocate mental health and addiction to a broader audience. TIFF Black Star

Where/When: 350 King St - November 3rd-December 22nd, times vary.

Join TIFF in the 100 years celebration of black talent and excellence on the big screen. View features and screenings until December on works in the film industry by the black community. They'll have everything from classics to new works!

Toronto Chocolate Festival

Where/When: Multiple locations - November 1st-November 30th

I have been waiting for this event since it was announced- and honestly this is a great weekend to visit! With multiple locations, this festival brings around all things chocolate! Try flavours from around the world, but also take part in the various events within the festival. Proceeds from this festival go towards "Prostate and Cancer Initiatives Fund".  From the Chocolate Ball to the Chocolympics, this festival is nothing short of delicious and entertaining.

Arcade Fire Returns

Where/When: 50 Bay St - November 3rd-November 4th, 6:30 pm

Canada's favourite band is back in Ontario's capital for a two-day concert series that kick off tomorrow at the Air Canada Centre. Tickets have been on sale for months, but there's still limited tickets to get your hands on. Trust me when I say this is a concert you don't want to miss!

Cinesphere Opening Weekend

Kesington Market is honestly one of my favourite spots in the city, so you know I will be all over this food tour there! Evergreen's Day of the Dead Celebration
