Attention Torontonians, there is more to Canada day than just fireworks! We've dug up some fun events for you and your friends to check out on our beautiful Nation's birthday. Make it one to remember with tasty ribs, live music, foam and more - yes, foam, you read that right!

On Canada day, it is a tradition to watch beautiful fireworks erupt across the sky. The Harbourfront Centre is having fireworks the night before Canada day at 1o:40pm. Downsview park is having a spectacular showcase of fireworks at 10pm. Also, you don't want to forget about the annual display at Ashbridges Bay at 9:30pm. If you don't like crowds and you're close to East York, Stan Wadlow park is having fireworks at approximately 10:15pm. Enjoy the lights.
2. Toronto Ribfest
Ribfest has a lot to offer for Canada day. In the day you can catch buskers, live music, and eat all the ribs your heart desires. At night you can watch a citizenship ceremony for new Canadians followed by celebratory fireworks at 10pm.
3. Electric Island
Celebrate on the Island with a few drinks and lots of EDM. This summer concert series features hot artists like Sasha, Marcel Dettmann, Lee Foss, Dennis Ferrer and more. Gates open at 1:00pm and the show runs until 10:30pm.
4. Cabana Pool Bar
Cabana Pool Bar is holding their second annual "red party". At Cabana you can enjoy the hot summers heat with a nice cool pool, drinks, music and awesome people. Admission is free if you show up before 3pm wearing red.

5. Foam Party
T-Dot events is holding a foam party boat cruise to celebrate Canada day. 4 hours of fun in the sun will cost you just $40. DJ Ritz and MC Jigga will be playing all of the hotest top 40 hits, club anthems and dancehall tunes.
6. Andy Warhol Pop Art Exhibition
The opening of the new Andy Warhol pop art exhibition is on Canada Day. The exhibition runs until December 2015 and includes over 120 iconic pictures by artist Andy Warhol. Check out the classic works like the soup can and Marilyn Monroe.
7. The Tragically Hip
Celebrate the day with tickets to see a classic Canadian band. These Kingston boys are still rocking after 12 albums and 14 Juno awards! Have a Molson Canadian and watch a Canadian band at the amphitheatre. Tickets start at just$30.
