4. Take him out for breakfast
I have a tradition of taking my dad out for breakfast every Father's day. This is a good option is you're tight for cash but you still want to let him know you care. Catching up with one another over mimosas and eggs benny is an awesome way to start off Father's day!
5. Attempt to impress the Grill Master
I know my dad considers himself to be pro with the BBQ, which is pretty valid because his cedar plank salmon is bomb. This fathers day impress your dad by cooking him an awesome dinner. Head to one of Toronto's best meat markets (we suggest Sanagan's) and pick up his favourite cut of meat. He will be super stoked that you took the time to make him dinner, let alone something seasonal and tasty!
If you're looking to get your adrenaline pumping why not try go-karting? Your dad will love spending time with you while tearing up the race track. This could finally be your opportunity to beat your dad at something, so get your engines ready! We also found a Groupon to help you out.
If you're looking for a more laid back option for fathers day, strolling around a winery is an awesome option. Luckily Toronto is within driving distance to Niagara which is home to many Ontario Wineries. There is also a Groupon hook up.
8. Go on a Hike
I'm aware that this idea seems pretty basic, but the whole point of Father's day is to spend some time with your dad and show him you care. Hiking will allow you to have some quality time with your dad without the distraction of technology and the busyness of the city. We have a list of awesome places to hike around Ontario if you need inspiration.
