9 New Bars In Toronto You Should Have Already Gone To In 2016
The year has almost come to an end, which means you need to work on all you bucket lists, to-do lists, and ancient new year's resolutions from 2016. Our city underwent a lot of changes in 2016, and our bar scene was no exception to that!
New places popped up all around the city this year, and we couldn't be more excited to share a few of them with you. For those of you who are looking to add a few new places to grab a cold one this holiday season, you're in luck! I have compiled a list of 9 new bars that came to our city in 2016, and it is now your mission to visit them all!

1. Baro // 485 King West
Baro is a beautiful new spot on the West end, that has quickly become a favourite for many Torontonians. Between their tasty cocktails, delicious food, and adorable decor, it's hard not to fall in love with Baro!
2. Good Game // 2097 Yonge St
Good Game is every gamer's ideal place to spend a Friday evening. For those of you who are looking to geek out a little over World of War Craft themed cocktails while playing your favourite game, this is the place you need to go!
3. El Rey // 2a Kensington Ave.
El Rey is an awesome new addition to Kensington Market, and makes for the perfect first date spot! They have a relaxed and casual vibe, with extremely tasty cocktails and appetizers!
4. The Dime // 538 Queen St W.
The Dime is the perfect place to make bad decisions. Whether you're looking to get a little too tipsy on a weeknight or grab a quick bite before a concert, this is your spot! P.S. the staff are also super awesome and friendly!
5. Famous Last Words // 392 Pacific Ave.
Famous Last Words is every book lover's dream. This cozy spot in the Junction has an adorable fireplace, and is filled with books and cocktails (aka perfect pairing).
6. Laylow // 1144 College St
Laylow is a perfect place to grab a drink after a long work week. This spot is super chill and laid back, plus they have a pretty extensive beer list!
7. Birreria Volo // 612 College St.
Birreria Volo is a new addition to College St. and it has quickly become one of our favorites. They're interior is gorgeous, and their patio is even nicer (if you can believe that).
8. Pray Tell // 838 College St.
Pray Tell has recently got a lot of attention for their beautiful decor, and we think it's totally worth the hype. If you're looking for a nice place to grab a couple drinks with a friend or a date, this is your new go-to!
9. Good Fortune // 130 Eglinton Ave E.
Step out of the cold weather and into Miami at Good Fortune. This beachy new bar serves up quirky cocktails that will give you the buzz you need over the holiday season. Plus, the tropical decor will help you forget that it's -30 outside!
