Canada's Wonderland Will Be Transformed Into A Magical Winter Wonderland

A truly magical holiday event!

It may not seem like it but before we know it the streets will be covered in bright, white snow, there will be festive holiday lights strung up in the streets and our morning coffees will be replaced by sweet hot cocoa!

I think we can all agree that winter, in general, is the worst but the holiday season is one of the most magical times of the year! What's going to make the holiday season even better is the fact that Canada's Wonderland is hosting it's first ever WinterFest and it's going to be a truly enchanting event.

Up until now Canada's Wonderland shuts down for the season after their annual Halloween Haunt event but soon, they'll be staying open into the winter! They're transforming the grounds into an actual winter wonderland that will be truly magical.

You can see in the video above that it's going to be a seriously fun event that is probably one of the biggest winter festivals in all of Ontario! WinterFest is being called Toronto's "all-new immersive holiday experience" that will be like no other before.

Millions of lights will be strung up on the Midway, a 70-foot Christmas tree will tower over visitors decorated with 40,000 ornaments, and there will be tons of uniquely themed areas to explore throughout the park.

Just like the annual Halloween Haunt, Canada's Wonderland will be transformed into a winter wonderland village like no other! There will be ice skating adventures, live entertainment, savoury and sweet holiday themed treats like peppermint fudge and turkey legs, an actual North Pole recreation for kids, a tree lighting ceremony and so much more!

WinterFest will officially be opening in November 2019 and tickets will be on sale soon. If you're a Gold or Platinum Season Passholder this winter wonderland festival will be completely free to enter!
