Got plans next weekend? Cancel them. The one-and-only DJ Pauly D is headlining a performance at Vaughan Pizza Festival and you need to be there.
If you've never heard of Vaughan Pizza Festival before, it's a basically a weekend-long party. The fest describes itself as "a celebration of Pizza, Music and Beer" - a.k.a. everyone's favourite things. Vaughan Pizza Fest kicks off next Friday, July 13th at Intercharge Park, just north of Highway 407 in Vaughan.
"Join us for three days of the best pizza from across Ontario along with tasty Beer and top notch musical entertainment," the festival description says.
DJ Pauly D is slated to perform on Saturday the 14th on the festival's main stage. His set starts in the evening, but general admission tickets grant you access into the festival at 12:00 PM. As of right now, tickets are starting at just $20. The first round of early bird tickets have already sold out, so you may want to get yours ASAP.
If you're a hardcore Pauly D fan, you can upgrade to the $50 front stage access ticket, which guarantees that you'll have a front-row spot for the show.
For $2,200, you and 11 of your friends can get the ultimate VIP experience. The several thousand dollar pricetag will get you a massive private tent near the front of the stage, with complimentary food, beers, wine and bottled water. Split between the 12 of you, that's only $183 - way less than the average cost of a front-row seat at the ACC. And who knows, you might even get to party with Pauly D himself.
Vaughan Pizza Festival is free for kids under the age of 12, and there are lots of daytime activities for families happening all weekend long.
Keep in mind that the VIP ticket package is +19 only, but general admission is all-ages. Ticket prices go up at the door, so buying online right now is your cheapest option.
