The Toronto Reference Library is basically a landmark here in the city because it has one of the prettiest interiors of any building downtown. It's a stunning place to come to get some work done, study or even pick up a new book to read between the aisles of bookshelves.
While every day is a good day to go hang out at the amazing Toronto Reference Library, you should definitely head over there from Thursday, September 13th until Saturday, September 15th because they're hosting a massive book sale!
There will be more than 10,000 books for sale at the library on these 3 days and every single one of them will cost between 10 and 50 cents! That's basically like you're taking them for free! But books aren't the only thing available at the sale, they'll also be selling CDs, DVDs and more.
They'll only be accepting cash at the event so don't forget to bring a handful of change with you. They also encourage you to bring your own reusable bags with you to carry all your goodies home because they won't be providing plastic bags at the event.
The timing of the sale will be Thursday from 9:30am-7pm, Friday from 9am-7pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm. All proceeds from the sale are going to benefit library programs! This event is the best value for buying books in the entire city so you should definitely attend and stock up for the year.
