Toronto's festival season is almost here and we've got a stacked lineup of unreal events that you definitely don't want to miss. There's music festivals, film festivals, flower festivals and of course, food festivals!
Probably the best kind of festival is ones that are focused on food though, let's be honest. There's an all-vegan festival making it's way to Toronto this summer that all the vegans in this city should definitely attend. Vegans get a lot of hate for preaching their ways to omnivores all the time, but we all know they're the ones that are putting in the effort to make real changes in this world.
This festival is welcome to everyone who loves vegan-friendly eats and if you didn't think vegan food could be delicious, this festival will definitely prove you wrong! Vegandale is a travelling festival that hits 4 major cities including Houston, Chicago, NYC and Toronto over the summer to celebrate veganism through food, drinks, music and art!
The Vegandale Festival will be taking place in Toronto on August 11th and 12th at the Fort York Garrison Common. Tons of vendors travel to all 4 major cities for the event but there's also lots of local vendors that join for each specific city as well making the event totally unique each time.
Some of the vendors that attended the event last year included Glory Hole Donuts, Eggloo bubble waffle ice cream cones, Panago Pizza, Steambox Dumplings, Planta, Boon Burger, Ben & Jerry's and soooo many others!
If you decide to purchase your tickets early they'll cost $15 for Saturday, $10 for Sunday and $20 for both days which is a pretty awesome deal. These tickets will grant you entry into the event but you'll have to purchase your food and drink separately.
Food and drinks aren't the only thing going on at Vegandale though, there will also be a massive stage with a live DJ and MC hosting games and giveaways on stage throughout the day.
This is probably one of the largest and most popular vegan festival serving up 100% vegan drinks and food! If you're a vegan/vegetarian living in the city, you definitely don't want to miss out on this event this summer.
