The holiday season is slowly starting to sneak up on us, and nothing gets us in the spirit more than curling up and rewatching the entire Home Alone series. It's the main ingredient to a perfect pre-Christmas evening, and it's a yearly tradition to watch little Kevin McAllister outsmart Harry and Marv for at least the 100th time.
But, this holiday season, the Home Alone tradition is being transformed into an epic viewing experience. Instead of watching from your couch, you can actually make a full night of it by heading downtown to Toronto's Roy Thompson Hall to see Home Alone in concert!
Put on by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the concert is essentially a massive Home Alone screening accompanied by an epic live performance of the movie's brilliant soundtrack. The orchestra will bring the movie to life with rich, stunning sound, making Home Alone way more fun and breathtaking to watch than it'll ever be in your living room.
It's the second live-to-picture concert put on by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra this year - their massive Harry Potter live concert is less than a month away!
The Home Alone concert is on for one weekend only this December, so you better secure your tickets fast. Here are the exact dates and times:
- Thu, Dec 6 at 7:30 pm
- Fri, Dec 7 at 7:30 pm
- Sat, Dec 8 at 2:00 pm
- Sat, Dec 8 at 7:30 pm
Single admission starts at $63.00 CAD - which might seem expensive, but it's the time of year to do something special. Plus, you could always hit up the Christmas market in Toronto's Distillery District before the show, and make it the most unforgettable night of the holidays.
