Toronto Is Hosting Its First Ever Vegan Boat Cruise
Yay plant life!
Spring is in full bloom and we've all been waiting patiently for the influx of festivals, markets and events to begin. And now they're finally here! The creativity in this city never ceases to amaze, with a plant based event that's hitting the high seas.
The Vegan Association is hosting Toronto's very first Vegan Boat Cruise, that'll sail through the Toronto Islands on an Empress Of Canada cruise. Taking a few pages from their own Toronto Vegan Festival, the event will be loaded with vegan food and drinks, as well as vendors selling items and giving away free samples. Who doesn't love free?
Entertainment on the cruise is also on lock, with a music and a DJ spinning from Toronto's innovative music team, Sole Productions. Tickets are between $50-$60 and include entry onto the cruise, but food and drinks will be extra.
The Vegan lifestyle is creating a new movement of healthy living, and the chance to promote and educate people through this unique experience will definitely make headway. It's also an amazing opportunity for both vegans and people who simply enjoy a plant based diet to come together and share their experiences in a totally new way!
The cruise is not only fun, but it's also being held for a great cause. Money raised during the event will go to Wishing Well Sanctuary, a charitable organization that focuses on bringing peace and well-being to both humans and animals. Love!
The boat cruise will be sailing away on June 22nd from 7 P.M-11:30 P.M. For more info and to buy tickets check out their event page!
