Oshawa Is Transforming One Of Its Streets Into A Miniature Harry Potter World This Halloween
Grab your broomsticks!
Calling all Potterheads! A street in Oshawa will turn into a miniature version of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter this Halloween.
Harry Potter Halloween is an event that will take famous places from the iconic series and set them up along Connaught St in Oshawa for tours. You'll be able to check out Hogwarts, walk through Diagon Alley, and even peruse for wands at Ollivanders.
Those who are looking for more of a scare can also check out the"Neighbourhood Creeps" walk-through just around the corner on Masson St.
Hosted by Lisa and Dave Whittick, the event hopes to raise funds on behalf of Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre. The couple is also collecting canned food, baby supplies and unwrapped gifts for Simcoe Hall Settlement Hall.
The event will take place on October 30th from 7-9 pm, as well as October 31st from 7-10 pm. Please see the official Facebook event page for more details.
