A Huge Sunflower Festival Is Coming To Ontario This Summer

A festival dedicated to the most beautiful summer flowers!

What screams summer more than a beautiful field full of bright yellow sunflowers facing towards the bright sunshine? Honestly, nothing. Sunflower fields are located all over the world and bring visitors who love to admire these stunning flowers and definitely snap a few a pictures. 

There's a few different sunflower fields right here in Ontario that you can visit but there's actually festival dedicated solely to these gorgeous yellow flowers! If you're looking for an activity to add to your summer bucket list, this is definitely it. 

If you love all things sunflower you should head over to the Sundridge Sunflower Festival that will be taking place this summer in Ontario.

The Sundridge Sunflower Festival will be held in the sunny town of Sundridge, Ontario which is less than a 3 hour drive from Toronto, a 4 hour drive from Ottawa, a 4.5 hour drive from Kingston and a 4 hour drive from London. The festival is taking place on Saturday, August 11th and it's going to be bigger and better than ever!

You can explore the sunflower field, wander through their main street that will be filled with over 150 vendors, enjoy live music, take part in their huge night street dance, enjoy delicious food and participate in tons of games.

Sunflowers officially reach their peak bloom at the beginning of August which means this is the perfect time to visit a stunning sunflower field. They have a full day of activities and events planned for their festival starting at 7:30 am with a pancake breakfast and ending at 8 pm with a street dance! 

It's completely free to enter the festival and you'll only have to pay for whatever food or goods you want to enjoy while you're there. You definitely don't want to miss out on this amazing festival for sunflower lovers this summer.
