The Ice Skating Trail at Arrowhead Provincial Park is a 1.3-km path of ice that allows visitors to strap on a pair of skates and glide through a magnificent, snow-covered Muskoka forest. The trail is outdoor, completely manmade, and tended to with regular maintenance.

Throughout the winter season, the park hosts Fire & Ice nights, in which the edges of the trail are lined with tiki torches to light up your way. With the orange glow of the fire reflecting off the ice and catching the tips of the surrounding evergreens, Fire & Ice nights make for the perfect romantic adventure with a loved one!

The trail's opening this year will depend on the weather conditions. At the moment, it is still currently closed, but in past seasons it has opened in the first week of January.

Admission is $17 per vehicle, and there are skate rentals available for $10 at the park.
