With the Christmas season approaching, places everywhere in Ontario are getting into the holiday spirit. This year, Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg will do what it does best every December - host an incredible winter lights festival that will truly amaze and dazzle.
Alight at Night is eastern Ontario's largest outdoor light festival which transforms the Village into the ultimate winter wonderland. Close to one million lights are installed in the trees, fences and heritage buildings throughout the area, making it a truly magical place to visit for the holidays.
The festival has received several awards over the years, and is hoping to break its previous records. The town will feature holiday-themed activities, including horse-drawn wagons at night, life-sized toy train rides, Christmas carolling, festive dining and many other seasonal surprises.
Alight at Night will be open this year throughout December and early January. Admission is $15.95 per adult, with children 5 or under being free. For specific dates and more info, visit UpperCanadaVillage.com.
