This Ontario Town Is Transforming Its Downtown Into A Giant Tubing Hill
Time for a road trip!
When you were a kid there is a good chance that your favourite part of winter was the snow days that came along with all the cold weather! This meant school cancellations, sleeping in, and playing outside in the snow with your friends for the entire day. Well, it seems as though Bracebridge Ontario has answered every kid's (and grownup's) dreams by creating the ultimate tubing hill, right in the downtown core!
As part of the city's Fire and Ice festival, they bring 50 truckloads of snow onto their main strip in order to create one of the most amazing tubing hills in Ontario! As of January 28th, 2017 the city will transform once again into the ultimate winter wonderland, and the tubing hill will be in full swing.
The festival will be running all day long, from 9am - 9pm! Which gives you ample time to see the numerous street performers, indulge in the pancake breakfast, ice skating at memorial park, marshmallow roasting at the outdoor fire pits, ice carving demonstrations, and of course tubing!
So, if you're looking for a fun event to partake in at the end of the month, this seems like the perfect fit!
