This Ontario Town Will Transform Into A Dreamy Winter Wonderland For The Holidays

Light up your life this Christmas.

There's still several days until Christmas, but it's never too early to start getting into the holiday spirit.

53 days from now, one Ontario town is will bring back it's annual celebration that involves an epic presentation of thousands of lights throughout its downtown core.

Simcoe, a town in Norfolk County, will transform into an incredible "city of lights" in an event called the Simcoe Panorama. Both locals and visitors take strolls through the town's parkland to view the amazing light displays, and several fun community events are also held during the festival, from horse-drawn trolley rides to town tours.

Located just two hours away from Toronto, the festival is perfect for a weekend escape with family and friends during the holiday season.

The highlight of the Simcoe Panorama is a river parade of lit-up floats which make their way along a river that stretches from one end of the town to the other. The floats, which are holiday-themed, are released in the dark of night to make them stand out as much as possible.

This year, the Simcoe Panorama will take place on November 25thwith the lights scheduled to turn on at 6 pm. The festival will continue until December 31st and is free for all to enjoy.
