In the town of St. Williams, a popular wilderness resort called Long Point Eco-Adventures offers a cool stargazing adventure that takes place in a gorgeous vineyard. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the vineyard offers a vast display of the sky that simply cannot be replicated in an urban park.
The romantic getaway begins with a tour of the winery's vineyard and facilities, followed by a segmented wine tasting of three award-winning house wines. A gourmet dinner is then enjoyed in the picturesque vineyards, under the start-studded night sky.
Those who would like to take a closer look at the constellations can do so using the site's state-of-the-art Schmidt Cassegrain Meade telescope, which provides sharp images of nebulas and other interesting celestial objects.
