There's something so gratifying about escaping the hustle and bustle of city life and retreating into the quiet of the countryside. Most of us don't get this opportunity very often, but when we do we really need to make the most of it. Spend some quality time with friends or your S/O by getting rid of all the distractions of modern life and rediscover why you love them so much.

The perfect place to do this is at the gorgeous Buffalo Farm right here in Ontario! The Buffalo Farm is a completely unique place to getaway for a weekend that is home to a few different kinds of accommodations, beautiful scenery and 3 wild buffalo.

This magical spot sits right beside a flowing river that you can swim in during the warmer months of the year. The farm is also an animal sanctuary which takes care of the 3 buffalo and some horses as well that visitors can hang out with during their stay.

You can spend your time reading by the fire, drinking hot cocoa in the evening, hiking through Algonquin Park, renting kayaks or leaf peeping during the fall! The Buffalo Farm is enchanting all year round.

The tipi costs $89/night, the yurt costs $88/night and the farm suite costs $120/night. You'll have to bring all your own food to cook while you're there but all the other comforts are included so you don't have to worry!
