I think we can all agree that alpacas are probably one of the cutest animals to ever exist. They're super fluffy and they've got the most adorable, friendly faces out of almost all the animals out there. Honestly, there's no denying they're the best!
During these cold winter months that have taken over our lives, it's pretty common for us to shut ourselves indoors and hibernate until spring arrives. But instead, why not take a walk and enjoy some hugs from an adorable alpaca at SAMY's Alpaca Farm and Fibre Studio right here in Ontario!
SAMY's Alpaca Farm and Fibre Studio is located in Kerwood, Ontario which is just outside of London and only a 2.5-hour drive from Toronto! They are a family business that raises alpacas on an adorable 10-acre farm with a barn.
They love visitors at the farm and have even trained their alpacas to walk on leashes! When you visit the farm you can take part in one of their Alpaca Walks as they call them which allows visitors to fully experience the beauty of these animals.
During the Alpaca Walk, they will take you to the animals grazing in the pasture where you can hand feed them and get acquainted and talk about the alpacas. Then you'll take some on a leash for a walk down an adorable country lane! The entire experience will take about 1-1.5-hours.
The Alpaca Walk will cost $15 per person and they require a $30 minimum so you'll have to bring a friend, family member, or S/O along with you! They also have tons of other fun workshops to take part in while you're there like a wet felting workshop, a needle felting workshop, and an alpaca training session where you can train the alpacas to walk on leashes!
They have a farm store as well where you can purchase some alpaca wool goods like socks to keep your feet warm during the winter! This farm is seriously adorable and it's the perfect experience for animal lovers.
