The Bala Cranberry Fesitval always takes place the weekend after Thanksgiving, this year falling on October 12th-14th. This family-run festival is all about celebrating fall and cranberries! Their Cranberry Plunge activity is what everyone is there for and allows visitors to have a real cranberry experience.

You can put a pair of waterproof bog pants on and wade into the marsh that's full of fresh cranberries! You'll usually have to reserve this activity but the best part is that admission is only $10.

But wading through a sea of cranberries isn't the only thing you can enjoy while you're here. They also have a ton of vendors on-site selling amazing fall goodies, live music, a cottage market, a country bazarr and so much more!

You can even book a cottage on a nearby Muskoka lake and make this into a weekend event!
