Pumpkin patches are nice, but have you ever been to a cranberry marsh? This fall, try something new and head over to Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh for a truly unique adventure.

Located in Bala of the Muskoka Lakes, the family-run facility offers two incredible fall experiences that are all quintessentially Canadian: The Bog-to-Bottle Tour and The Cranberry Plunge.

The Bog-to-Bottle Tour is a year-round attraction that showcases the art of making award-winning wines, starting from the harvest at the cranberry bog to the fermentation process. The tour is offered daily at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm and only costs $15 per person (plus tax).

The Cranberry Plunge is a fall attraction that gives participants a true cranberry marsh experience. Dressed in smocks, they will have the chance to plunge into the marsh and wade in a sea of cranberries. This activity is available by reservation only on weekdays at 12 pm and 2 pm (Oct 2-6 and Oct 10-12); however, drop-ins are available during the weekends from 10 am to 4 pm (Sept 30-Oct 1, Oct 7-Oct 9 and Oct 13-15). The best part? It only costs $10 per person (plus tax)!
