A Massive Star Wars Concert Is Coming To This Canadian City This Summer

In a galaxy not so far, far, away...

Now that you've seen the latest Star Wars film The Rise of Skywalker, you might be wondering what next? But in a galaxy not so far away, you'll be able to enjoy the wonder of the popular fantasy saga in a new way. This spring, Calgary's Star Wars concert will let you catch Star Wars: A New Hope in concert.

You don't need to be a massive Star Wars fan to enjoy this unique event. From Friday, May 15* to Saturday, May 16, 2020, you'll be able to kick back and watch the movie while the live orchestra plays all the unforgettable music.

The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra will be hosting the two-day event at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

You'll be able to see your favourite characters, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo, on the big screen.

Watching the first movie that started it all, you'll experience the wonder you did the first time. Get ready for some major nostalgia, especially if you've grown up watching the movies.

To help refresh your memory, in the first part of the series, it starts in Tatooine, where a young Luke Skywalker learns of his destiny from Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Then, it quickly picks up the pace as Luke and Han Solo work towards freeing Princess Leia from the menacing Darth Vader.

You won't want to miss this exceptional performance. There will be a show on Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the show are already on sale, so you'll want to snatch up yours quick before they sell out.

Prices start at $25 plus fees and taxes and you can get them online at Ticketmaster.

If you are searching for more lightsaber fun to hold you over until this spring, we got you covered.

You could always plan a road trip across the border to stay at Dark Side themed Airbnb, then head to the boozy Star Brews festival.
