Calling all hikers. There is an epic hike in the Rockies that you need to do at least once. Hidden Lake in Alberta may not be the easiest hike, but it's so worth it. With views of mountain tops, enormous trees, and some of the bluest water you’ve ever seen, you won’t believe that something like this exists in the world, let alone the province.

Hidden Lake is a trail located near Kananaskis Improvement.
Offering views of some of the bluest water you've ever seen, this hike isn’t for people who are interested in a leisurely stroll.
Altogether, the hike is 16 kilometres in length and it can be challenging at parts.
Needless to say, it’s going to take you all day. But what else were you going to do? Bake bread?
The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching.
Obviously it is gorgeous during the spring and summer months, but you can also hike it in the winter.
Whether you are a snowshoer or cross country skier, the trail can still be accessed during the snowy months.
During the summer months, however, the trail pops off.
