Go big or go home. We found the ultimate treat for all you dessert-lovers and doughnut fiends. While a box of 12 crullers or Boston Kremes might sound absolutely sinful. Why stop at just a box? You can get an entire bucket full of mini doughnuts in Calgary right now and it's perfect if you miss the kind of fair food you'd get at Stampede.
Local food truck, Calgary Mini Donuts, told Narcity they are now selling buckets of their classic cinnamon sugar mini doughnuts.
With the Calgary Stampede cancelled this summer, you might be sad about all the delicious and wacky foods you'll miss. But this one sweet treat is so over-the-top it will make you feel like you are almost there.
Inside each bucket, you'll find 25 doughnuts that you'll want to stuff your face with. They are just the perfect bite of crunchy sugary and flavourful cinnamon.
The family-run company specializes in serving freshly made mini donuts, which you can often get your hands on while they are still warm.
When Narcity asked the company why they went for such a large size, they replied, "there's no such thing as too many mini donuts!" We don't know about you, but we can't help but agree.
Within the container, there is more than enough to share with family and friends. But if you want to eat them all, we won't judge.
For all you with dietary restrictions, you'll be happy to note the desserts are vegan too.
One supersized bucket packed to the rim is remarkably very affordable too. You can order one for only $12.
If you happen to live solo, that could be your snack supply for the entire week.
Or if you prefer something slightly smaller, you can get a half/size bag, which is $7.
The easiest way to locate the food truck is by following YYC Food Trucks or Facebook or Instagram (@YYCFoodTruck), and via Calgary Mini Donuts's social media pages at @calgaryminidonuts.
Both locations will list upcoming drive-through sites where you can get your sugary-fix to go.
