You Can Go Glamping In Banff National Park And The Views Are Absolutely Stunning

Camping is one of Canada's favourite pastimes. The sweet smell of a campfire, the ooey-gooey goodness of the perfect s'more, the glorious fresh air and climbing into a cozy sleeping bag at night - all of it combines to make it one of the best ways to escape from the reality of everyday life.

Not a fan of the whole tent situation or lack of comfortable beds? Fear not, fellow maple syrup lover. Parks Canada has something up their sleeves that if you haven't discovered yet, you definitely need to check out.

May I present, the tent/cabin A-frame hybrid, the "Otentik". This adorable little camping oasis allows you to enjoy all the amazing parts of camping (AKA campfires, exploring, hanging out in the great outdoors) without all the vices (AKA mosquitos buzzing in your ear at night, freezing your buns off at 2 am, etc).

These glorious cabins nestled in the woods each contain two-queen sized and one double-sized bed, and a spacious living area with a table and chairs for up to six guests. It also offers electricity and heat, plus an outdoor fire pit and BBQ.

Convinced yet? We haven't even gotten to the best part. Although Parks Canada offers this comfort camping all across the country, their campsite at Two Jack Lakeside Campground in Banff is quite possibly one of the most stunning campsites in the world. You are just steps away from stunning lake and mountain views, plus only a 15-minute drive from the town centre.

What more need we say? Grab your friends, grab your snacks and cozy blankets, and get in the car. This is an experience you won't forget.
