Ontario's Best Butter Tart Festival is the largest and original butter tart event in Canada.
You can find around 200, 000 butter tarts from all across the province, and you'll want to try them all.
This year's event is happening on June 13, 2020, in the Town of Midland.
The tarts are anything but ordinary here. While you can indulge in the original flavour, you can also find unique creations like bacon, cheesecake, s'mores, PB&J, Skor, and more.
Vendors and home bakers will compete for the title of Ontario's Best Butter Tart, as well as other awards such as Wild Style.
Last year's best butter tart prize went to The Carriage House Bakery in Alliston, while Doo Doo’s Bakery in Bailieboro took the Wild Style prize with their sweet potato ginger strudel tart.
You can explore over 200 vendors and food trucks while breathing in the sweet smell of Canada's favourite treat.
The ceremony will open with a 'Piping of the Tart' bagpipe and drum parade to kick off the deliciousness.
