Canadians Agree: 'No Name' Brand Is One Of The Greatest Things About Canada

What's the best part about being Canadian? It's not the poutine, or the guaranteed White Christmases, or the universal healthcare. Nor is it the plethora of breathtaking landscapes or the prevailing culture of politeness and modesty. Rather, the best part about being Canadian is something you'd probably never really thought about before...
A Reddit post on r/canada revealed that one of the greatest things about Canada is its iconic no name brand. For decades, the brand's minimalistic, yellow-clad products have served as an answer to more affordable groceries, and Canadians definitely recognize the significance of the brand in Canadian culture (and everyday life).
It all started with a tweet shared by @piranhaplant, who said no name was "the gem of Canada." People immediately agreed and shared some kind words for the brand:
The no name
brand first launched in 1978
What's more is that the brand is proudly Canadian,
no name
Cheap, trendy and politically-savvy
