Whether you're pissed at Trump's new tariffs, or want revenge for what he said about Justin Trudeau, you have the power to fight back in more ways than you think. Trump loves his money almost as much as he loves his Twitter account. Canadians can do some serious damage to Trump's wallet by boycotting his products and businesses.
Donald Trump is profiting from much more than just his chain of hotels and golf courses. He's got his hands in dozens of big-name department stores, grocery chains, and online shops, some of which are in Canada.
Here's a list of stores in Canada which are either owned by the Trump family or sell Trump goods:
- Whole Foods
- Hudson's Bay
- Saks Off Fifth
- Trump Hotels: Vancouver
Canadians are even jumping on Twitter to let the stores know that they're being boycotted. "Hey @WholeFoods, I won’t be spending one more cent at your stores until you stop selling #trump products," one Canadian tweeted today.
"Dear @amazon, I have decided to boycott your business due to the fact that you sell Trump merchandise," another person writes, "I am Canadian and am appalled at @realDonaldTrump's conduct towards my country over the past week. I will be boycotting other stores that sell Trump goods as well."
Sad to see some of my ex-favourite stores on this list, like @hudsonsbay, @dsw_us, @ALDO_Shoes@WalmartCanada@WholeFoods and @Zappos. I will be boycotting these companies until they vow to not support a President that is divisive, dishonest and hateful. https://t.co/H7wALldo0r
There are also tons of other Trump-affiliated stores that ship online purchases to Canada, which Canadians can boycott as well. Here are a few major ones:
- Lord & Taylor
