Caterina Scorsone Reportedly Splits From Husband Just Months After Having A Baby
A chapter closed. Grey’s Anatomy star Caterina Scorsone and husband Rob Giles have reportedly split after being married for ten years. The news comes just five months after the birth of their third daughter.
Us Weekly reports that Scorsone is the one who filed for divorce from Giles.
Married back in June of 2009, the couple shares three daughters together Eliza, Paloma, and Arwen.
Despite her Canadian background, the actress has been living in Los Angeles since pursuing her acting career.
Giles is also a part of the entertainment industry. According to his IMDb, he’s most known for his songwriting work for bands like the Police and The Rescues. He is also credited as a writer on a couple of episodes of Grey's Anatomy.
The couple is often open about their family life on social media, being a huge advocate for childhood Down syndrome.
Scorsone even shared a loving Father's Day post dedicated to her husband just last year, "Happy Father’s day to Mr. Rob Giles, the most loving, patient, playful and kind Dada a couple of kids could ever have."
However, she hasn’t shared a photo with Giles since their pregnancy announcement back in October.
She labelled the photo, "Our Family's about to get even kookier."
When the Private Practice alum announced her pregnancy, her Grey's Anatomy costars had such nice things to say. The Shondaland Instagram account commented three times, saying, "Another little human to love!", "YES MAMMA!", and "Congrats!"
The 38-year-old also got love from her on-screen ex-husband Kevin McKidd, who plays Dr. Owen Hunt, who said, "Yes yes yes !!!" as well as leaving multiple heart emojis.
Scorsone and Giles have yet to confirm their relationship status.
