Her heart will not go on stage for the next month. Celine Dion's Courage World Tour was just postponed and it affects venues across North America. That includes four cities in Canada.

Dion's team took to Instagram to share their official statement and a list of the postponed venues.

It reads, "Celine Dion will postpone the remainder of the North American leg of her COURAGE WORLD TOUR, scheduled to play 14 markets from March 24 through April 27, 2020. Rescheduled dates will be announced shortly."

The first affected venue is in Denver, followed by 10 U.S. cities going into April.

She was scheduled to play two concerts in Vancouver at the Rogers Arena on April 17 and 18 and in Edmonton at Rogers Place on April 21 and 22. Saskatoon was set for April 25 and Winnipeg for April 27.

The end of the statement states that "ticket holders of the postponed performances will receive more information shortly and should keep their original tickets to use at the rescheduled dates later this year."

The announcement doesn't declare whether this postponement is due to COVID-19 concerns.

The Canadian singer experienced her own scare with the pandemic virus earlier this week.

Her Facebook page states that she postponed two dates in Washington and Pittsburgh after coming down with the common cold.

The post writes that "On Monday night, a day after completing a six-show run in the New York area, Celine began feeling the symptoms of a common cold. The symptoms persisted into Tuesday, and her doctors instructed her to rest for the next 5-7 days. After testing her, the doctors concluded that her virus was not related to COVID-19."

Dion's team originally wrote on the March 10 statement that performances were expected to resume on March 24. But of course, those are now cancelled so she will not be on stage for the next month and a half.

The Courage World Tour began in September 2019 in Quebec City and is currently scheduled to run until November 18.
