We bet you have heard of this place before.
Clear Blue Waterfalls In Tennessee & Rock Amphitheater Are Seriously Mesmerizing

Finding hidden gems in your state makes you feel like you have struck gold. They can literally be right in your backyard and you would never know. One spot that is perfect for exploring any time of year is this rock canyon on the Alabama-Tennessee border. These clear blue waterfalls in Tennessee have found their home here and it's worth the hike to.

The Walls of Jericho is a spot that is unlike any other in Tennessee. It's located in Belvidere, Tennessee but you can also get to it from Jackson County in Alabama.

This trail is a challenge and is a longer hike, around 7.5 miles round trip. It takes you through the depths of a wooded forest, over a few bridges and finally to the canyon.

If you start from the Tennessee trailhead, your entire adventure round trip will be around 7.5 miles. It might sound intimidating, but this is something you could do in a day, and you won't regret it.

The elevation change that you will experience is gradual, so you don't have to worry about hiking a large incline the entire time. Throughout the hike, you'll be able to see the mountains across from the trail, which might make the trail not as difficult as it actually is.

As you start seeing the bluffs of the Walls of Jericho, you know you've almost made it. The actual "walls" are made of limestone and make an amphitheater shape. This means there will be many small caves and crevices you can explore and climb into. The 200-foot rock walls are a unique site that you'll want to sit and admire for a while.

There are a few different water features, and they all are worth seeing. Turkey Creek drains through part of the amphitheater creating a natural-looking waterfall and small pool. No matter the weather, it's hard to not jump right in because it's so blue. The lower falls are cascading and just as beautiful.

You might struggle to make it to the Walls because it is a difficult trail, but there are plenty of places to relax once you get there. This is the perfect fall activity that should be on your fall bucket list.

If you love adventuring and waterfalls, this State Park has a huge waterfall and a natural swimming hole and this hike in Nashville leads you to TWO hidden lakes
