It's been months since the world was rocked with the 'Bachelor in Paradise' scandal. Media outlets ran with the story of sexual abuse, misconduct and rape allegations before there was any sort of confirmation from the parties involved - Corinne Olympious and DeMario Jackson - or the ABC franchise itself.

Production stopped, for one of the few times in Bachelor Nation history, as the footage went under a thorough analysis by Warner Brothers & their legal teams. The stars were sent back to their hometowns, with some never to return. The biggest one to stay away? Bachelor favourite, Corinne.

The young blonde star gained tons of fan attention on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor for being a hot, fun, businesswoman with a ton of attitude and a love for white wine and naps. No one imagined that her stint on Paradise would be dramatic in such a serious way, causing many fans to flock to her side for support.

Corinne opened up to Good Morning America about what she really thought about the alleged sexual misconduct with this quote: "I did drink too much. I definitely understand that. But I was also on a medication that severely blacks you out and impairs your judgment and messes with your balance. But I didn't know you were not supposed to drink on. And so I really just caused a horrible, horrible blackout. It was like I went under anesthesia and just woke up… I've seen some of the footage, and, obviously, I watched the first episode… It's like I'm watching not me. I'm watching someone else. I was, like, in shock."

While Corinne put out a statement saying that she was a victim - she didn't mean of DeMario's abuse. But rather, a victim of the media's attack. She went on to say that there is "no bad blood" between her and DeMario and is still very thankful to BIP production for stepping in when they did.

"I was a victim of just being blown into the media and having people make these crazy assumptions and judgments about what happened that day. You know, I was really a victim of the media. All of a sudden people became an expert on the situation and what happened, and it's like, ‘Well, I'm still trying to figure out what happened.' It was just horrible to deal with."

Corinne will be chatting with Chris Harrison tonight on BIP to spill even more about the incident, so stay tuned.
