Tim Hortons Eliminates Roll Up The Rim Cups Due To Coronavirus Concerns (VIDEO)

It’s almost everyone’s favourite time of the year at Tim Hortons. It’s Canadians’ chance to win a car… or at least a free treat. However, the novel coronavirus has made roll-up-the-rim cups it's latest victim.  

The franchise has decided to completely take them out of the equation, in order to protect their staff and guests.

The coffee chain won't literally be scrapping the cups, as they are currently working with a sustainability team to ensure that everything gets appropriately recycled. 

COVID-19 hasn't completely brought this contest to a halt. There will be a digital version of the game so there is still a chance for you to win a prize. 

At least, now everyone can safely enjoy their french vanillas.
