Dairy Queen Is Releasing A Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Across Canada This Month

With the nights getting cooler and the days getting shorter, fall is quickly approaching. Regardless of whether or not you are a fan of the cold, there is always one thing that Canadians can look forward to when fall starts to approach, which is pumpkin-flavored everything. Dairy Queen is hopping on the bandwagon this year and will be offering a Pumpkin Pie Blizzard in stores across Canada for the month of September.

That's right, as pumpkin spice season arrives, Dairy Queen Canada will be releasing their Pumpkin Pie Blizzard for all Canadians to enjoy. This perfect chilled treat allows Canadians to enjoy the taste of fall, while still keeping cool in the last few weeks of 'summer'.

The seasonal blizzard will feature Dairy Queen's famous vanilla soft serve, along with real pumpkin pie pieces. To make it even more autumnal, the blizzard will be topped with whip cream and nutmeg.

The new flavor of the blizzard will be available in a variety of sizes, including mini, small, medium, and large.

As with any seasonal item, this delicious pumpkin flavor will only be available for a limited time. Being DQ's blizzard of the month, this means that the ice cream treat will only be on the menu for September.

Dairy Queen announced that this Blizzard of the Month will be the "sweetest pick of the patch."

Of course, Dairy Queen warns that the blizzard will only be available at participating restaurants around Canada, which means it's always best to check with your local DQ before heading across town for that little taste of fall.

However, this isn't the first time that the treat has graced the menu on DQ. Dairy Queen hints that this is the blizzard's return and the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard has been on the menu before.

This means, that if you don't have a chance to pick up the pumpkin-flavored treat this month, or fall in love with it and are sad to see it go,  you might be able to score the tasty treat next year.
