A Candy Themed Interactive Pop-Up Is Coming To Dallas This April

Candytopia is coming to Dallas this April.

If you like bright colors, candy, and the most instagrammable places then we've got just the event for you. Candytopia is coming to the Dallas area this April. The exact opening date and location of the event has yet to be announced, but the tickets will be on sale super soon!

Candytopia is an interactive pop-up where you can walk through dozens of stations that feature everything from oversized lollypops to sculptures made out of gummies. The exhibit will also feature a marshmallow pool if you feel like taking a quick dive.

Some of the stations you can expect to find at the pop up are a room filled with celebrities "paintings" made out of gummies and jellybeans, an illusion room that will make you feel like your really sinking into the floor and a confetti room.

The pop-up also has plenty of neon lights and a big gate worthy of Mr. Wonka himself. There are photo stations set up throughout Candytopia including one where you can melt in with a chocolate pool, be eaten by a gummy shark and a mirror throne.

Tickets for the Dallas Candytopia will go on sale March 19 and are around $30. This is one of three stops the pop-up has made since its Los Angeles debut but it is the first on Texas.

The event works in time slots so when you do get your tickets you will have to sign up for a time. The exhibit takes a little over an hour to complete and the website recommends you get there at least 15 minutes before your time slot.

The pop-up has a gift shop and candy lounge where you hang out for a little while longer after you've walked through the exhibit.

Candytopia was created by Jackie Sorkin whose goal for the place was to be as if "an eccentric chocolatier and a daredevil pop star had a whirlwind romance... and had a glamorous, glittering love child who grew up to rule a small nation".
