A Crazy Brand New Axe-Throwing Spot Is Opening Near Dallas This Summer

If you're looking for a new hobby to get into this summer, get excited because Stumpy's Hatchet House is opening a shop in Toyota Music Factory in Irving. According to Culture Map, the axe-throwing joint is expected to open mid-summer. 

Ground will break for the 7,500-square-foot space next month. It isn't their first location to open in Texas, with the first Stumpy's in Texas having opened last year in San Antonio. If you're worried that this new soon-to-be hot spot might be a little dangerous, you don't have to worry! There are professionally trained staff members there to ensure no one gets hurt while having lots of fun. 

Prices for the axe-throwing action range from $25 per person for one hour or $40 per person for two hours. If you want to go hang out with all your axe-throwing friends but don't want to throw the axes yourself, you may do so for $15. You also have the option of renting out the entire place for you and your gang!

All visitors to Stumpy's must be 21 years of age or older. Some locations have been knowing to be BYOB however it is still unknown if this particular location will offer such luxury.

If you are really in the axe-throwing spirit, we recommend you make a reservation as the place tends to fill up during the weekend and you might not have a chance to join in the fun. 

The place also offers a variety of axe throwing games for when you feel comfortable and experienced enough to play them. 

There is a dress code for anyone who wants to visit and it includes closed toe footwear and something you can have good mobility in.
