The party is free, and there will be so much to see and do once you get there. There will be displays of "Santa Land" set up for the entire month of December, though the real party is on the second and third weekends in December.
The event on December 7 will bring a holiday parade, pictures with the Claus family, and a tree-lighting ceremony. On the following day, you'll have a chance to see live reindeer. A holiday train will also be around to spread some holiday cheer.
There will be s'mores stations set up so you can stay cozy by the fire with a winter treat. The entire thing will be by the beach which, in the metroplex, is a little harder to find than in other places in Texas.
Even if you can't make it to the event itself, you'll be able to stop by and enjoy the village at no additional charge. Hours vary depending on the day but you can usually stop by between 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
For more holiday fun, you can stop by the Dallas Zoo where they will be having an adult-only night for you to enjoy the lights and not have to share with any of the kiddos. You can also check out our list of hidden places to visit this winter in Texas.
