Believe it or not, biscuits are a very southern thing and Dallas just got a spot that serves so much more of them. The Biscuit Bar just opened their new shop and they have so many different types of biscuits we don't even know where to start. According to Eater, the Biscuit Bar is close to Southern Methodist University.

The Biscuit Bar has traditional recipes but they also like experimenting with new, exciting dishes. One of their less conventional creations is the Hot Chocolate Biscuit! The delicious treat consists of a flaky bun covered in chocolate sauce and topped off with marshmallow. You will also be able to try the Biscuit French Toast which consists of pan-fried biscuits covered with vanilla custard and topped with whipped cream.

They also have delicious sandwiches that have fired chicken with the tastiet gravy. Biscuit Bar prides itself on being a brunch destination so they also have multiple drinks on tap. Some of their signature drinks include Brunch Punch, Fromosa and of course, everyone's favorite mimosas.

All good biscuits need delicious sides to go with them, so the restaurant also offers a variety of tater tots ranging from breakfast tots with eggs and bacon to holiday styles that are topped off with brown sugar, pecan streusel and toasted marshmallow.

The Biscuit Bar is open Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., Thursday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight, and from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

The new Biscuit Bar is located at 6501 Hillcrest Ave in Dallas. For more information including the full menu, you can visit their website here. You do not want to miss out on trying the best biscuits and gravy in town!
