Muggles, its time to rejoice! LeakyCon is coming back to Dallas this summer for the biggest North Texas Harry Potter celebration ever. From August 9th to the 11th you'll be able to stroll down to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center wearing your house colors proudly.
At the convention, you will be able to sit in for hours of panels where the biggest fans and actors from the movies discuss all things Harry Potter. During these panels, you'll be able to ask all of your burning HP theory questions to someone who is just as passionate as you are. There will also be HP inspired performances from fans that come from all over the world.
The convention also brings some of the movie magic to real life with their marketplace. At the marketplace, you'll be able to find everything for your trip to Hogwarts from the perfect wand to a new house robe, you know, just in case Aragog gets a hold of you and you need a backup.
The convention is three days long which means you can buy a single day pass for $60 or a weekend pass for $150. You also have the option of purchasing a Marauder Pass which includes access to the con all weekend as well as exclusive merchandise, reserved seating in the LeakyCon Main Stage and a voucher for autograph and photograph of your favorite Potter star.
If your skills against the dark arts are a little rusty, you can also reserve a workshop with the movie's wand choreographer, Paul Harris.
LeakyCon has yet to announce the rest of their line up for this year, but with big stars such as Dan Fogler, Scarlett Byrne and Evanna Lynch having attended the con in previous years, it's hard not to get excited.
